Alexandra Kiroi-Bogatyreva announced at 2022 World Games
Victorian gymnast Alexandra Kiroi-Bogatyreva has today been announced in the six-athlete squad that will head to Birmingham, USA, for the World Games next month.
Competing in the Rhythmic competition, she will join five other Australian gymnasts, making it four gymsports where Australia will be represented in.
The World Games runs to highlight sports that are not apart of the Summer Olympic Games. The six gymsports included are Acrobatic and Aerobic gymnastics, Tumbling, Double Mini Trampoline and individual apparatus medals for Rhythmic gymnastics.
Alexandra has had a busy, but successful lead up to the World Games as she recently competed in the Rhythmic International Continental Cup. Alongside fellow Victorian gymnast, Ashari Gill, the pair claimed Gold in their victory over New Zealand. The achievements do not stop there for Alexandra, as in the same two-week period she also took home four more Gold medals at the 2022 Australian National Championships.
A resume to be very proud of, Gymnastics Victoria wishes her all the best at the Birmingham World Games!
