Please find below information about the Gymnastics Australia 2021 Board and Gymsport Awards.

2021 National Board Awards

Gymnastics Australia is now calling for nominations for the 2021 Board Awards for awards as approved by the Gymnastics Australia Awards Committee.

Nominations should be completed in conjunction with the Awards Bylaw, which sets out the requirements for each award, including who is eligible to make nominations and the criteria that needs to be met by nominators and nominees.

The Awards By-law can be found on the Gymnastics Australia website here.

The Awards will be presented at the Australian Championships, held on the Gold Coast Queensland, from the 11th to the 25th May 2022.

2021 Gymsport Awards

The 2021 Gymsport Awards – with the exception of GfA Awards will be presented using the Gymsport Awards Policy which can be found on the Gymnastics Australia website here.

The GfA Awards will not be presented for 2021. This decision was made after consultation and careful consideration of the impact of COVID-19 across the country and the difficulties those impacts had on the ability for individuals to meet the award criteria and for the GfA Commissions to assess nominations.

It was noted that there may be some athletes/officials/volunteers who have made special contributions to a particular Gymsport across 2021, and we strongly encourage eligible nominators to consider nominating those individuals for the most appropriate 2021 Board Award.
