Board Chair - Molina Asthana
Molina is on the board of, and was the first South Asian woman to be elected President Elect of the Law Institute of Victoria. She is also the National President of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association. She is an experienced commercial lawyer having practiced at top-tier Australian law firms and the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office and in the Supreme Court of India. Molina also serves on various boards including AMES Australia, Graduate House of the University of Melbourne, Good Shepherd ANZ, AFL South East Commission, Table Tennis Victoria and Australasian Centre for Human Rights and Health. She is also the co-founder of the Asian Australian Alliance and the founder of the organisation Multicultural Women in Sport. Molina is also a member of the Sport Australia Sport Volunteer Coalition and a member of the Football Federation of Victoria Tribunal. She has received multiple awards for her work including the Victorian Multicultural Award for Excellence twice.
Board Member - Pia McKeown, Strategic Engagement Executive, Director, Product Success, SalesForce
Pia fell in love with gymnastics at a young age. Dedicating herself to the sport, she competed nationally as a member of the Finnish Junior National Team. In her latter years, Pia transitioned to Team Gym while concurrently finding her passion for coaching. These days, Pia continues her involvement with gymnastics from the grandstands of Victoria passing her talent and love for the sport to her daugther. In her professional life Pia has seen an extensive amount of success, developing a career in the technology sector. With positions of leadership held at NAB and Australian Unity. Pia has a passion for transformation and business agility. Bringing critical technology governance, transformation and risk management experience to the board, Pia is looking forward to contributing to the future strategy and development of Gymnastics Victoria as a newly appointed board member. Pia will commence her tenure in December 2022.
Board Member - Matthew Hunter, Head of Customer Remediation / Refunds, IAG
Matthew has more than 23 years’ experience in the insurance industry spanning across several geographies including Australia, New Zealand, India, Asia, and South Africa. Matthew is employed by Australia’s largest insurer and has headed multiple business divisions across frontline operations, risk and compliance, digital and automated platforms, outsourcing services, and strategic strategy at an executive level. Matthew has a strong connection to the sport of Gymnastics through this daughter and son where they began their gymnastics journey with CYC and now has his son currently in the HPP squad.
Board Member - Lucy Fyfield (Noutsis), Director/Owner, Melbourne Gymnastics Center
Starting as a gymnast from the age of six, Lucy has a long standing love and passion for the sport of gymnastics. Making the transition to administration, Lucy grew the development of clubs under her management within inner city Melbourne, now known as Melbourne Gymnastics Centre (MGC). MGC offers multiple programs including Baby Gym, KinderGym, Gymstar, and competitive WAG and MAG. Lucy’s passion for movement, being active and building a community network for the sport are her driving forces. Lucy prides herself on providing safe and joyful spaces for children to feel comfortable and successful each day. Over the years, Lucy has worked to support a range of clubs and organisations. Lucy looks forward to supporting Gymnastics Victoria in amplifying their values, child safety measures and ensuring momentum behind the continued growth and development of the sport. Lucy will commence her tenure in December 2022.
Board Member - Bronwyn Gilmore, Divisional Manager, Cardiac Services and Specialty Surgery, Austin Health
Bronwyn is an experienced leader in the health sector. With a background in intensive care (ICU) nursing, Bronwyn is a highly motivated senior leader who utilises skills of strategic analysis, expert resource management and innovative problem solving to convert opportunities into success stories. Bronwyn is well known for her commitment to developing partnerships and passion for delivering excellent customer service. As an accomplished committee leader, Bronwyn has held the position of Eastern Gymnastics Club President for the past 5 years. Bronwyn is also a proud mother of her MAG competitive gymnast. Bronwyn's' area of interest is governance and compliance, during her tenure, she hopes to support Gymnastics Victoria offering her skills and experience in risk management and policy creation and review. Bronwyn will commence her tenure in December 2022.
