Aerobase Online Champions for 2019

Gymnastics Victoria, in partnership with The Principals' Association of Specialist Schools (PASS) Network, are proud to announce the winner of the 2019 Aerobase Online Championships - Marnebek School in Cranbourne!

The annual Aerobase competition sees Special Schools throughout Victoria learn and practice an Aerobic Gymnastics routine using Gymnastics Victoria’s free resources (found here). At the completion of the program, schools are encouraged to film their routine and submit it to Gymnastics Victoria for their chance to win $1000.00 for their school!

This year, Gymnastics Victoria’s expert panel of judges, including Kaitlyn Frawley (Disability Sport and Recreation), Jo Murphy (Victorian Aerobics Technical Committee) and Kenji Fujihara (National Aerobics Champion), declared Marnbek’s routine to be the most creative, energetic and engaging submission of the year!

Gymnastics Victoria would also like to extend our congratulations to the following schools who also entered this year’s competition:
Croxton School
Vermont South Special School
Barwon Valley School
Ashwood School

All schools who enter the Aerobase Online Championship are invited to compete in our annual Aeroschools event, this year taking place from the 1st – 3rd of August at Bendigo Bank Stadium, Diamond Creek. For more information, please click here
