Dani Robb is the Gymnastics Victoria Hero of the Month!
Dani Robb is a coach of the elite trampoline program at CYC and has played a significant role in developing a positive and welcoming culture at the club with her athletes.
At the Trampoline Victorian Championships held this month, CYC had a fantastic competition with 29 athletes competing and the club taking out the Overall Championship Team as well as a clean sweep of the four Trampoline Shields for Males, Females, National Level and International Level.
Dani has been coaching for almost 20 years and coaches several of Victoria’s up and coming Trampoline athletes who are part of the Victorian High Performance Program. Late last year she travelled to St Petersburg in Russia to represent Australia as a coach with her CYC Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline athletes Brock Batty and Sunday Hollingsworth.
Dani has also given several years’ service to the Trampoline Technical Committee who are responsible for the technical rules of Trampoline Gymnastics in Victoria.
The 2019 Victorian State Teams were announced this week with 22 athletes from CYC making the 2019 Trampoline Victorian Team.
At the Australian Gymnastics Championships last year Dani achieved some fantastic results with her athletes including Gold Medals for Women’s Youth International Synchronised Trampoline gymnasts Alyssa Calcatjicos and Phoebe Kakaras and the Men’s Youth International Individual Trampoline for Brock Batty.
Congratulations to Dani on a fantastic Victorian Championships and we look forward to seeing how her athletes go at the 2019 Australian Gymnastics Championships.
