Sue Westaway is our Hero of the Month for December!

This month, Sue was featured in a Herald Sun article that celebrated her achievements in gymnastics.

Gymnastics Australia presented Sue with the Lance Otto award for 30 years of service to the gymnastics community as well as being named Coach of the Year. Sue was recognised in particular for her contribution to the Kindergym program.

Sue has worked tirelessly to make sure that children in the Kindergym program are getting a solid grounding in gymnastics at an early age.

Working with gymnastics veteran Gary Black, Sue established the Moving Monkeys Kindergym program in Ferntree Gully. Children who join the Moving Monkeys program can expect to enjoy playing on trampolines, a foam pit, tunnels, ropes and bars. All of the activities in this Kindergym program are designed to help kids develop a fundamental set of movement skills.

Congratulations Sue on all of your achievements!
